In transit on a roof of the car of large-sized luggage aerodynamic characteristics of the car that leads to increase in fuel consumption worsen.

The luggage carrier should fasten according to the enclosed description, it is thus important, that paws of fastening of cross-pieces 1 (fig. 1.43) were established only in the openings intended for them 2 or fastened for the top edges of doorways (fig. 1.44) .

For fastening of a cross-piece of a luggage carrier for the top edges of doorways (see fig. 1.44 ) execute the following operations:

– remove covers 1 from end faces of a cross-piece 3;

– establish the internal and external 2 fastenings of a cross-piece are resistant;

– tighten screws of 4 fastenings of racks;

– establish covers 1 on end faces of cross-pieces 3.

The luggage is necessary for stacking evenly and reliably to fix. The mass of luggage should not exceed 40 kg.
