The mechanical transmission has five synchronized transfers of a forward course and backing transfer. Synchronizers provide smooth and silent gear shifting.

To include a reverse gear it is possible only at the motionless car. For inclusion of a reverse gear at the working engine it is necessary to press against the stop a coupling pedal, then through an insignificant period to transfer the gear shifting lever to the situation "R" (fig. 1.21) .
