Be convinced that belts are not overwound as a result of their wrong installation. If belts are overwound or jam at retraction, extend a belt for all length, sufficient in order that it could be corrected, and return a belt in former situation.

Completely extend a belt and release it. If the belt jams at movement in both directions, check its condition. A belt wash out only weak water soap solution. If the belt does not manage to be washed out, replace it.

Check a condition of all places of fastening of a belt. Bolts of fastening should be reliably tightened. Remove any traces of corrosion in places of fastening of a belt to a body. The details of fastening struck with corrosion replace.

Replace a belt at detection of the following damages:

– ruptures of threads or "razlokhmachivaniye";

– cuts of eyelets on belt edges;

– curvatures of a band;

– in case the belt became colourless from the sun or from influence of chemical compositions;

– existence of the painted sites or cuts.

Belt assembled replace at detection of the following damages:

– if the buckle of a belt is insufficiently reliably fixed or is damaged;

– if the button of an unblocking of a belt weakened, the buckle does not release a belt, the effort necessary for release of a belt increased;

– if on a surface of a buckle there are cracks;

– if the belt underwent stretching at failure.
