In a forward part of the central console on cars with a mechanical transmission or automatic transmission the cover of the lever of gear shifting fastens.

To remove average section, at first remove the handle and a casing from the lever of the parking brake.

To remove the handle 3 (fig. 16.56) , remove lock plates 2 in the lower part of the handle.

For dismantle of a back part 1 (fig. 16.57) of the central console get an ashtray and unscrew two screws being under an ashtray. Do not forget to disconnect a connector of a wire of illumination of an ashtray.

Press latches in a forward part of the central console and submit the central console on itself.

Installation carry out upside-down.

Be convinced that directing 2 (fig. 16.58) from the interior of the central console comes on the T-shaped pin 1. The forward part of the central console is fixed on pins 1 (fig. 16.59) and fastens nuts and screws.

At dismantle of the central console disconnect the sockets of conducting being under the central console.
