Removal of the mechanism of a tension of a gear belt is carried out in the following sequence:
– remove the contact socket of the electromagnetic valve останова the engine;
– remove a belt of a drive of auxiliary units;
– establish the cylinder No. 1 piston in VMT of a step of compression (see подразд. 3.3.3);

– remove top 10 or 20 (see fig. 3.64 ) and the bottom 1 or 19th covers of a drive of GRM;

– weaken a nut 9 (see fig. 3.66 ) fastenings of a nave of a roller of the mechanism of a tension, thus the clown of the mechanism of a tension will turn counter-clockwise, and the tension of a gear belt will decrease;
– unscrew a nut 9 and remove the mechanism 6 of a tension of a gear belt of a drive of GRM.
Installation of the mechanism of a tension of a gear belt is carried out in sequence of return to removal. After installation it is necessary to adjust a belt tension.
On engines with the semi-automatic mechanism of a tension of a gear belt for check of its tension press the top part of a conducted branch of a gear belt at a camshaft pulley. Thus the label 8 (see fig. 3.66 ) on a roller of the 7th mechanism of a tension should deviate a label on a nave of the mechanism of a tension. At an otpuskaniye of a gear belt of a label should be combined again.
