Removal of an oil case carry out in the following order:

– disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery;

– lift a forward part of the car and establish it on supports;

– for improvement of access to the oil pallet disconnect the right power shaft from a transmission;

– on cars with the AFN engine remove a casing of an oil case (fig. 3.73) ;

– unscrew a bolt and remove a protective plate of a flywheel from a transmission. Unscrew bolts of fastening 10 (see fig. 3.69 ) the oil pallet 9 to the block of cylinders of 1 engine;

– remove an oil case 9 together with laying. Check a condition of the mesh filter and, if necessary, clear or replace it.

Installation of an oil case carry out in the following order:

– clear interfaced surfaces of the oil pallet and the block of cylinders of the remains of old laying;

PREVENTION To clear interfaced surfaces it is necessary accurately not to scratch them as pressure of oil in the working engine can lead to leakages through scratches, забоины, etc. defects on interfaced surfaces.

– apply a thin film hermetic on interfaced surfaces of an oil case and the block of cylinders of the engine;

– establish new laying on an oil case, establish an oil case on the engine and fix bolts, observing an established order and the inhaling moments;

Installation of the removed elements make in sequence, return to removal.
