Removal of shatunno-piston group is carried out in the following order:

– remove a head of the block of cylinders (see подразд. 3.2.5);

– remove the oil pallet and the oil pump;

– establish the cylinder No. 1 piston in NMT turn of a cranked shaft;

– before removal of a cover and dismantling of a rod and the piston note the provision of a rod and a rod cover concerning the cylinder, put on the piston bottom an arrow directed to a forward part of the engine, for the subsequent correct installation of the piston;

– unscrew nuts of fastening of a cover of a rod and uncover;

– вытолкните the piston with a rod from the cylinder the wooden handle of a hammer;

– remove the remained pistons with rods assembled, having executed the above described operations;

– check a finger existence of development of the top part of a wall of the cylinder;

– remove lock rings of a piston finger from piston flutes;

– выпрессуйте a piston finger from the piston by means of a special opravka;

– remove piston rings by means of a stripper (fig. 3.51) or old oil щупа (see подразд. 3.1.13).

PREVENTION Always remove piston rings towards the piston bottom.

Installation of shatunno-piston group is carried out in the following order:

– heat up the piston in hot water;

– establish in the piston a rod, having arranged it according to earlier established labels, and press in it a piston finger;

– establish piston rings by means of a stripper (see fig. 3.51 ) or old щупа (see подразд. 3.1.13). On the established piston rings of an inscription of "TOP" or «OBEN» should be directed to the piston bottom;

– establish the corresponding shatunny loose leaf in the bottom head of a rod;

– arrange locks of piston rings on the cylinder No. 1 piston at an angle 120 ° to each other;

– turn a cranked shaft to a corner corresponding to NMT of the piston of the cylinder No. 1;

– grease with fresh engine oil of a wall of the cylinder, the piston, the loose leaf of the bottom head of a rod and a shatunny neck of a cranked shaft;

establish the piston with a rod assembled in the cylinder No. 1, compressing piston rings the special adaptation (see fig. 3.35 ).

– insert the loose leaf into a cover of a rod and grease it with engine oil;

– establish a rod cover according to earlier put labels;

– tighten nuts of fastening of a cover of a rod the moment of 30 N · m, then tighten them on a corner 180 °;

– turn a cranked shaft and be convinced that it rotates without breakthroughs;

– establish other pistons with rods assembled;

– establish the oil pump and the oil pallet;

– establish a head of the block of cylinders.

PREVENTIONS 1. Everything is necessary to replace pistons at once in a set. 2. At wear of one of cylinders to grinding subject all cylinders.
