Removal make in the following order:

– disconnect a "minus" wire from the plug of the storage battery;

– remove a steering wheel.

Early models

Having unscrewed two screws, remove a decorative overlay of a combination of devices (fig. 16.62) ;

– unscrew screws and remove a combination of devices.

Later models

Remove three lattices of system of ventilation from the driver and in the center;

– remove the rotary switch of lighting;

– remove furnish behind the left side of a steering wheel;

– unscrew four screws — on one behind each lattice of ventilation and one behind furnish — and remove a decorative overlay of a combination of devices ( fig. 16.62 , and);

To Overnita screws, carefully disconnect a speedometer cable, conducting sockets, if necessary disconnect a vacuum hose from the multipurpose indicator and remove a combination of devices (fig. 16.63) ;

– remove devices on cars of early models, as is shown in fig. 16.64 . To remove the index of 1 level of fuel and a tachometer 3 get pins 4. Get the index, having disconnected it from sockets of the case and the printed-circuit board. to remove a speedometer 2 unscrew screws of fastening 5;

– remove devices on cars of late models, as is shown in fig. 16.65 . To remove the index of 1 level of fuel and temperature of cooling liquid or a tachometer 3, it is necessary to take accurately them from sockets of the case and the printed-circuit board. To remove a mechanical speedometer unscrew screws 4 and carefully get a speedometer 2 from the case. To remove a speedometer with the electronic counter of the passable way it is necessary to get carefully it from the case and to remove from pins.

Devices can be removed without dismantle of the case of a combination of devices.

Connection of a cable of a speedometer is carried out according to fig. 16.66 . The cable is entered into a speedometer from the back party. Fixing of a cable of a speedometer is provided with the spring which has been built in in a cover of a cable.

Installation of a combination of devices carry out to sequences, return to removal.
