Before making the decision on replacement of the electric motor be convinced of serviceability of the mechanism of a window regulator, having lifted and having lowered glass manually. Also check serviceability of conducting and switches.

Replacement make in the following order:

– for access to the electric motor of a drive of a window regulator at first remove the window regulator mechanism;

– uncover 1 (fig. 16.47) of the case of a drive and laying;

NOTE The cover is assembled used for fixing of a drive of a cable with the purpose to prevent an inevitable rassypaniye of podpruzhinenny details of the mechanism.

– remove from the new electric motor a cover assembled;

– fix a cover 1 (fig. 16.48) on the old case of the electric drive of a cable of a window regulator by means of collars 2;

– remove from the new electric motor a gear wheel of a drive and a remote washer and establish them on the mechanism 1 (fig. 16.49) of a drive of a cable;

– fix on the mechanism of a drive of a cable the new electric motor;

– slightly submit the mechanism of a drive so that to combine a gear wheel of the electric motor and a gear wheel of a drive of a cable;

– remove collars and a drive cover;

– without breaking position of the mechanism of a drive, check correctness of installation of gear wheels of the electric motor and a cable drive;

– establish a cover and laying. Evenly on a diagonal tighten bolts.
