The mechanism of locking of a cowl is represented on fig. 16.5 .

Removal make in the following order:

– open and fix in open situation a cowl cover;

– unscrew screws of fastening of the lock and remove the lock 1;

– disconnect from the lock a cable 2;

– having unscrewed fastening screws, disconnect the handle of opening of a cowl in the car;

– take from the handle a cable;

– attach a thin strong cord in length about 90 cm by the internal end of a cable from the handle and accurately drag a cable in a motor compartment;

– disconnect a cable from brackets of fastening and take it.

Installation carry out to sequences, return to removal.
