Removal of a support carry out in the following order:

block forward wheels, will hang out and fix on basic racks a back part of the car;

remove the corresponding back wheel and release the parking brake;

establish a clip on a flexible hose at a support;

weaken a nut of fastening of a brake hose, but do not unscrew it at this stage;

remove brake shoes;

disconnect a support from a brake hose. Muffle a stopper of suitable diameter the hose end;

if necessary unscrew the holder of a support from a back axis.

Dismantling of a support carry out in the following order:

wipe a support from dirt and a dust;

establish a support an overlay of the piston up;

by means of the lever remove a dustproof cap of the piston;

take the piston from the cylinder, using the VW 3131 tool (see fig. 12.14 );

by means of a screw-driver take a sealing ring of the piston from the support cylinder;

take a dustproof cover from the piston;

unscrew the pumping valve;

clear all details of a support alcohol or pure brake liquid and wipe them. Examine pistons and a support on wear and other damages.

Assembly of a support carry out in the following order:

put on the cylinder of a support and a cuff pure brake liquid;

establish a cuff in a cylinder flute;

establish a dustproof cap on the smooth end of the piston, then press the piston into a support. A screw-driver insert a dustproof cover into a support flute (fig. 12.16) ;

establish the piston 5 (fig. 12.17) in an opening and fix it. The dustproof cap is fixed in a flute on the external end of the piston;

for adjustment of a regulator of pressure the special equipment therefore its performance charge to specialists of specialized service station is required;

the regulator of pressure of brakes works together with self-leveling system of a back suspension bracket. The air pipe connects alignment system to a pressure regulator and if the regulator of pressure or the compressor in system of alignment has to be disconnected or act in film, it is necessary to let out the compressed air from system;

put a small amount of paste on a carving of the brake cylinder, then screw up the pumping valve in a support;

establish a new cap on the pumping valve.

Installation of a support carry out to sequences, return to removal. After that remove air from brake system. For this purpose it is enough to remove air from a support 9 (fig. 12.18) which acted in film. Strongly press a brake pedal to adjust back brakes.
