Check of a technical condition of a forward brake disk carry out in the following order:

will hang out a forward part of the car and fix on basic racks. Remove the corresponding forward wheel;

on a diagonal screw, without tightening, two bolts of fastening of a wheel.

clear a disk of corrosion and check it on wear and defects; using a micrometer, check thickness of a disk;

using the indicator of hour type, check palpation of a brake disk. It is checked at distance of 10 mm from external edge of a disk.

Removal of a forward brake disk carry out in the following order (fig. 12.10) :

remove a support and the holder, without disconnecting a brake hose; using a wire, suspend a support to a forward rack;

unscrew bolts of fastening of a wheel which were established at disk check;

unscrew the screw of fastening of a brake disk to a nave and remove a disk.
