Check and adjustment of the raised turns of idling of the AAZ engine carry out in the following order:

check and, if necessary, adjust idling turns;

hand-operated models of start of the cold engine:

extend the handle of start of the cold engine from the panel and, using a tachometer for diesel engines, check that turns of idling increased to 1050 mines-1;

for adjustment of the raised turns of idling weaken a lock-nut and rotate the adjusting screw (fig. 5.83) ;

after carrying out adjustment of the raised turns of idling tighten a lock-nut;

models with the executive mechanism of start of the cold engine:

manually move the lever 1 ( fig. 5.84 .) idling turns before its contact to the adjusting screw also check that turns of idling increased to 1050 mines-1;

for adjustment of the raised turns of idling weaken a lock-nut and rotate the adjusting screw 1 (fig. 5.83) ;

after carrying out adjustment tighten a lock-nut.
