Removal and installation of the fuel level sensor is carried out in the following order:

disconnect a wire from a negative conclusion of the storage battery;

remove a floor covering in a luggage carrier;

unscrew screws and uncover the viewing hatch;

disconnect the electric tip 1 (fig. 5.80) from the fuel level sensor;

note an arrangement of fuel hoses 4 on unions of 2 covers and remove them from unions;

unscrew a big flange nut 3, take the fuel level sensor from a fuel tank, thus do not bend the float lever;

check integrity of a spiral of the fuel level sensor;

installation is made in sequence, return to removal. It is necessary to establish a cover of the fuel level sensor so that labels on a cover and a fuel tank were combined.
