Excepting the all-wheel drive version (Sincro), VW Passat cars have a back suspension bracket with partially connected levers and correcting rezinometallichesky plugs. The basis of a back suspension bracket is the V-shaped beam. Depending on capacity of the engine established on the car, in a back suspension bracket the stabilizer of cross-section stability can be established. But even without the stabilizer, the back beam carries out its functions, reducing car lists on turns. Levers 2 are welded on a beam from two parties (fig. 10.17) . The beam fastens to a body via rezinometallichesky plugs 3. The special form of plugs and their adjusting situation positively influence behavior of the car. When passing turns of the plug correct shift of a trace and obstruct to own traffic of a back axis. Amortization of a back suspension bracket is carried out by two amortizatorny racks 1.
All-wheel drive cars have a back suspension bracket with inclined levers.

       PREVENTION
Welding and leveling works on bearing elements of a back suspension bracket are inadmissible.
