The engine at check of pressure should be heated-up to working temperature.

Check the pump, having measured its pressure head pressure.

Using adapters, connect a pressure measuring instrument directly to the pressure head highway of the pump with the open valve (fig. 11.22, 11.23) .

Start up the engine in an idling mode.

For check of the pump close the valve on a measuring instrument, quickly remove value of pressure and again open the valve. If pressure does not correspond standard (less than 7,5-8,2 MPas), replace the pump.

PREVENTION Close the valve no more, than on 5 with, otherwise it is possible to damage the pump.
