It is possible to replace protective covers, without removing steering transfer.

Removal make in the following order:

– will hang out and fix on basic racks a forward part of the car;

– remove the corresponding wheel;

– measure visible number of rounds of a carving on inside of a tip of steering draft — it is necessary for correct installation of a tip of steering draft;

– weaken a lock-nut of fixing of steering draft;

– unscrew a nut of fastening of the spherical hinge of a tip of steering bent for to a rotary fist and, using a stripper of spherical hinges, take the hinge of steering draft from a rotary fist (fig. 11.11) ;

– disconnect a tip of steering draft from steering draft;

– unscrew a lock-nut of steering draft;

– remove collars (fig. 11.12) and, shifting on steering draft, remove protective covers of steering transfer and steering draft.
