In ordinary use the storage battery does not demand additional charge from external sources. Only at long idle time the storage battery demands additional charge each 6 weeks. Additional charge also can be required when using car mainly on short trips to a night-time. Otherwise need of additional charge of the storage battery speaks about malfunction of the last or malfunction in a chain of its charging. When using the charger there is no need of its detachment from car electroconducting, however it is necessary to switch off ignition and to leave a cowl open. It is necessary to avoid very fast charging as it can lead to irreversible damage of the storage battery because of an overheat. At any way of a charging the electrolit temperature in the storage battery should not exceed 38°С. If the storage battery vigorous gas evolution in electrolit strongly heats up or began, the charging should be stopped. The charging should be made by the direct current equal to 1/20 from capacity of the storage battery. Intensive allocation of gases testifies to the termination of a charging from the storage battery and that fact that the electrolit density for the last 3 h of a charging did not change.
