Tension of ignition, in electronic systems of ignition, reaches 30 000 V.Chtoby to avoid traumas from defeat by a current and to prevent ignition breakages, the main precautionary measures should be observed:
– do not concern a high-voltage wire of ignition by a hand and do not disconnect it at the working engine or at engine rotation by a starter;

– at engine rotation by a starter to prevent engine start, the high-voltage wire should be disconnected from the central contact of a cover of the distributor and is connected to "weight". In KE-Motronic system disunite the socket 11 (see fig. 6.8 .) the capacity block near the ignition coil. If the system of ignition is damaged and car towage with the included ignition is required, it is necessary to disunite the electric socket 1 (see fig. 6.3 ) from the TCI — H block;
– disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery before carrying out electrowelding works on the car;
wires of system of ignition and wire of measuring devices disconnect only at the switched-off ignition;
start by means of the puskozaryadny device is admissible only no more than 1 mines at no more than 16,5 V.Rotor's tension of the distributor of ignition with resistance of 1 kiloohm (an alphabetic reference of R1), to replacement by another is not subject, even for suppression of a radio noise;
to noise elimination in wires of a high voltage apply only resistors of 1 kiloohm and tips of spark plugs with resistance of 5 kiloohms. When heating more than +80°С, start the engine only after cooling;
wash of the engine make only at the switched-off ignition. The engine can work only when the control unit is strongly fixed by ignition.
